Hello everyone!
My bright ripple cushion was finished over the weekend.
I think it looks very nice on my little armchair!
I gave it the usual button fastening using some mismatched bright buttons that I bought in a jar from John Lewis last summer, and have been dying to use ever since.
Apart from that my new turquoise vase is still making me happy - now with roses in it!
Apart from the joy of the ripple, yesterday was a slightly miserable day as I spent most of it sniffling and blowing my nose with what I think must be some form of hayfever. Does anyone else get hayfever this time of year? What do you do to remedy it?
Happy Monday everyone!

I also think your bright colourful cushion looks very nice on that so-comfy-looking chair, Jen, well done! And your roses are looking divine in your new vase - I also like the mismatched buttons, very appropriate!
ReplyDeleteMy hubby suffers from hay fever and takes non-drowsy over-the-counter antihistamines and they work wonders for him! I hope you find some help soon, it's an awful thing to put up with! Have a great week, Joy x
Thanks Joy, and thanks for the suggestion on the allergy medicatio !
DeleteThe cushion is really lovely, the colours are so great and cheerful :) I read some where that a teaspoon of honey from your local area each day should provide you with some immunity, my Dad swears by it now! x
ReplyDeleteThanks Helen, I've heard that about honey before. Not sure I live in a honey producing area unfortunately, but I'll keep my eyes peeled!
DeleteFabulous cushion in fabulous colours!
ReplyDeleteGarlic, Horseradish and vitamin C is a vitamin supplement that keeps my hayfever in check!
ReplyDeleteNice cushion! The colours pop right out and I do the same with the buttons, just mix and match them. A little imperfection, is perfection :) The vase is beautiful and reminds me of a lamp that I have been dreaming of with a big white lampshade. One day....I will find such a lamp.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.
Birgitta xx
Very lovely bright ripple :) hope your hay fever improves, makes you feel miserable doesn't it..n.a.
ReplyDeleteI love the cushion! It's so bright and happy!
ReplyDeleteLovely cushion, so cheery! You have my sympathy over the hayfever. I have it at the moment too, and so does my daughter. I've never figured out exactly what sets me off though - think it might be tree pollen as I don't seem to sneeze much in my treeless garden, and it's the time of year for it.
