Hexagon blanket

This week I finally finished my hexagon blanket! This blanket has taken me quite a while - I started it back in May, do you remember?

For those of you who like to know this sort of thing, here are some blanket statistics for you, this blankt is:

195 hexgaons

double knit yarn (various types)

single bed size

lovely and snuggly!

I am so glad I have finally managed to make this blanket - after a couple of false starts over the years.

Hope you have a creative Sunday - now I'm off for some more happy hooky!

  3. Well it was well worth keeping on with it Jen - it's so beautiful - and really, it's not so long since you started it, after all, single bed size is quite large, and a LOT of hexes! Well done, I love it and its brightness!

  4. Absolutely brilliant love the colours. I've always wanted to make hexagons. Love that you say how many to make. This is on my to do list.

  5. Is this pieced together using a whipstitch on the right side (putting wrong sides together)? The result is gorgeous.
